Promoting the Purchase and Use of Elelctric Vehicles

Project Description:
NOAH Foundation has funded most of the development and maintenance of the website for Electric Wheels Inc. in Salem, Oregon for the promotion of sales of electric vehicles. NOAH Foundation has contracted to market the offsets from this project that replaces CO2 producing engines with electric motors.

The carbon dioxide offset is calculated by the difference in running a gas engine minus the emissions from the grid used to charge the batteries to power an elecric vehicle for an equivalent distance.

How the project reduces CO2:
This business sells electric vehicles such as electric cars and trucks, electric scooters, electric ATV's, electric dirtbikes and electric assisted 8 speed mountain bikes as some examples.

Non-GHG Benefits:

  • Saves fossil fuel.
  • Wean America from the middle East Oil.
  • Noise pollution is reduced.

Additionality Criteria: Why We’re Involved:
With NOAH Foundation funding, Electric Wheels Inc. will be able to continue to focus on marketing. Also, the use of carbon offset funding will help fund company expansion.

Project Location: Salem, Oregon

Project Description:
NOAH Foundation will fund Purebred Electric Car Company, a research and development trust located in Salem, Oregon. The focus of this trust is electric vehicles, electric motors, electric vehicle controllers and other equipment used in electric vehicles.

How the project reduces CO2:
This business researches and develops electric vehicles such as electric cars and trucks to be built on contract.

  • Saves fossil fuel.
  • Wean America from the middle East Oil.
  • Noise pollution is reduced.

Additionality Criteria: Why We’re Involved:
